Replacement parts

Thanks for reaching out to us. The balance system in your window was manufactured by Unique Balance Company, which went out of business at the end of the 20th century. We recommend using the 15-047 pivot shoe that is 5/8" thick. If this pivot shoe does not lock properly in the sash, you can attach a 15-039 shim to the front of the pivot shoe to add an additional 1/32" thickness. Review the specifications and see what you think.

No, you should be able to reuse your old pivot bars with the new pivot shoes if they're in good shape.
