Replacement parts for my windows

Quick Learner from Kimberling City, MO
I have several windows that won't stay up when opened. I've viewed several YouTube videos but can't find anything similar to what I have or need to repair them. My windows have coiled steel ribbons that have broken and I have no cutout to remove the existing hardware/steel ribbons and pivot points. The item in this second photo is stationary midway up the frame with the item in the third picture moving when the window is opened. Any advice or guidance on how to replace these pieces would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

We'd be happy to help but we would need to see your pivot shoe and coil springs fully removed from the window to research your replacement options. See the videos we've related on this page that show how to make a cutout in your window, as well as the replacement process for these coil balance assemblies. If you need new pivot bars, we will need to see that part removed from the sash as well. Thank you!

I've removed a side of the coil spring and pivot shoe, see pictures attached. The spring is 1/2" wide and the pivot shoe that fits in the window track is 1 1/4" wide. The window is 29" tall. Please let me know if you have replacements available for repairing my windows.

Thanks for getting back to us. Your photos resemble the 15-140 balance shoe, which would use the S150 coil springs, 15-143 bushing, 15-144 cap, and 15-145 barrel. Take a look and compare the specifications shown on our product pages to yours. It looks like your coil spring may be stamped with 7, which would indicate that you would use the S150-7
