Replacement parts for sliding windows

Home Owner from Gig Harbor, WA

My 40 year old horizontal sliding windows need some replacement wheel assemblies and and need to replace the hard plastic sliding surfaces. The slide surface is 3/4 inch wide and about 1/8 inch deep at the edges with a raised middle ridge sitting over a trench to remove water through weep holes. The length varies in the seven windows from 46 inches to 100 inches. The wheel assemblies are a single wheel unit with two per window. The surrounding wood in some of them has gone away.

Thank you for your help,

Travis

Hi Travis,

Thanks for writing in! We may be able to supply you with the replacement rollers and track needed for your sliding window but I will need to see a photo of an existing hardware to determine the best recommendation. I'll need to see the roller removed from the window to identify it and you'll also need to have it removed to confirm any dimensions. Regarding the track, I'll need to see an end profile view to see the shape of it.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have in the meantime.
