I was able to take the shoe (with the coil) out of a working window.

Let's jump right into this, shall we. Please take a look at our 15-175 pivot shoe. Our Series 152 coil spring would actually be compatible with that shoe.
Since I do not see any measurements of your pivot bar, I would have you start by taking a closer look at our 26-226 to see if that can be a match for you. If it should not be, get back to us with some measurements so we can continue our search.
