Replacement parts for window riser spring (I made up that name!)

See attached photos that are of the "spring" that broke in one of our windows. I couldn't seen a "before" photo because it fell out when the window was raised, but I'm sending a photo of the window when it's closed. When it open you can't see the spring in the side that is still there, if that make sense. In the photo you can see the part number stamped on the item: 16 4 BR Caldwell. The window is vinyl and the side window in a bay window seat. Thank you for your help. And also for understanding that I'm very new at understanding window parts! :)

Thanks for posting. 'Window riser spring' is basically the gist of it! These are called channel balances. For yours, see our S380-17 or S385-17. The only difference with these two balances is the shoe depth. See below. Measure your old balances' shoe depth to see what matches best. For the stamp option choose 1640.
