Hello. I have broken sash clips and need 4 of them. I also have one window balance that has a broken bottom clip which is riveted on so I will need the whole balance. The number 2740 is engraved but no other markings.

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S378, S380 or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The main difference is the depth of the bottom shoe.

The length of the metal channel excluding the nylon attachments should measure 28 inches long and you will need a 2740 stamp option. Please note that we recommend replacing both balances at the same time as pairing a new balance with an old one would cause the new balance to wear out faster.
