Replacement pivot lock shoes

I am in the process of repairing 20-year-old extruded aluminum tilt windows. I will be replacing 10 spiral balances in them. During inspection I noticed that a few of the pivot lock shoes were in need of replacement. The closest one I could find on your site was item #15-134. Upon measuring one of the shoes I removed, the width was 1/32" different, 31/32" vs 15/16" (see photo). Can I assume that during normal wear and tear the shoe could have worn down accordingly? If not, what is the recommended method of material removal?

Hey there,
Thanks for writing in! Your pivot shoe bears a closer resemblance to our 15-212 Pivot Shoe. To determine if this is the correct fit for your repairs, you'll want to be sure to double check the dimensions below. Like yours, this shoe has a 15/16" width and a 3/8" thickness.
