Replacement sliding door handle

Question

My mortise lock broke on my sliding door and I want to replace it with a lockable one. The warranty information it says it's a silver line 8002344228 with a product ID of 5700.
i would like help buying a replacement that can be locked with a key from the outside. Thanks

Hey there. Without seeing the original mortise lock I can't say what you need for sure. Start by looking at the 82-218. See if this matches what could fit your door. For the handle set, it depends on whether or the not the thumb latch and keyway are perfectly centered between the mounting holes, or closer to one side than the other. It looks like yours was offset, but it's tough to tell. See if the 82-030B Handle Set would fit this door.
