This balance is 60 years old. The window is a vertical sliding wood type. Weight is about 20lbs. This is an estimate since the window cannot be removed

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm not sure if this bracket shown here is bent or if it was designed to look this way. Can you confirm? Assuming it is bent, our recommendation is the Series 500 with the 17-012 bracket (sold separately). For length, the rule of thumb for wood windows is to measure the height of the visible glass and then add 3" if it's for the bottom sash and 1" if it's for the top sash.
