Replacement spring for 15-215

A quick learner from Haddonfield, NJ says:
I purchases your pivot shoe 15-215...identical replacement for original. When installing, the plastic housing that holds the two springs in their fixed position disintegrated and now the spring assembly follows the pivot shoe. Is there a replacement for the plastic housing or do I need to replace the spring assembly in order to get the housing? Inserting the springs into the pivot shoe is difficult and dangerous because one of the springs is under tension. Is there an assembly with springs already attached to the pivot block? If so, that would make the installation so much easier.

Can you show us a photo of the problem you're having with your coils? That'll really help us get started.

Case closed. I ordered 4 of the 140-12. Installed and working great. Had to cut notches long enough to accommodate the integrated (coils and shoe) assembly. It beats the hassle of attaching existing springs to new shoes.
CLOSE THE CASE. Thank you.
