This latch handle came from a Cole Sewell ST Paul MN storm door. 02219796042 65 reg. number

Thanks for writing in! Your storm door handle set can be replaced with either our 40-058 or 40-177. They are both the same style handle set, just available in different finishes.

To determine if this is the replacement needed to repair your door, carefully look over the dimensions below and compare them to your existing set.

Looks good except the indoor handle is different. Would this indoor handle work with my set? I was wondering because the indoor handle is a push latch inside and my handle was a swivel (turn type) handle.

The block on my indoor handle is 3.5 inches long.

Do you have a copy of the underside of the inside handle to see if it looks like my old swivel handle's underside?

Also the thickness of the block for my old handle is 11/16".

The measurement for the entire length of the interior handle should not make much of a difference in the installation, so long as the installation hole placement has the same 1-3/4" distance. The inside of the interior handle would have the same spindle type as the exterior handle but you can find an example of what it looks like on the webpage for the 40-145; it is the same exact handle.

The interior handle that comes with the handle set should work fine since it uses a square spindle but the 40-150 is also an option. It is only available in black and white.
