So I purchased it and it fits perfectly can you please tell me how to remove the insert so I can accommodate the larger spindle from the old one do I just pull it out?

To remove the spindle insert, you can use a 3/32 Allen wrench to loosen the bolt on the side of the handle. After that, the spindle insert should fall out.
