Replacement thumb latch cover

Question

Hi-  Unfortunately, I can't find the model anywhere on this sliding patio door, but still hoping you can help.  Is there a way to add a rubber cover to the thumb latch or do I need to completely replace the handle/latch? Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks for posting, You might be able to replace just the thumb latch, but I need to know more about this handle set to know for sure. Can you send photos of the mortise lock in the door the handle set interacts with? Can you also measure the hole spacing, or the center-to-center distance between the mounting holes? We'll review your options from there.
