Replacement window balances

Home Owner from Clanton, Al
Mine are attached at the top of the balance by plastic, most of them have broken off over the last 20 years. The spiral rod is 29" long, it is encased inside a spring that is 27 3/8"long, then encased in a white plastic sleeve approximately 27 1/2" long.  The bushing on the end of the spring is white. What part do you recommend I use to replace these?

Hello, thank you for posting,

To further review, are you able to provide pictures of the spiral balance? Can you also provide the diameter of the white tube? It is most likely 3/8" or 5/8" in diameter. Please also supply a picture of the bottom of the spring and white bushing. From there we can determine the series your window uses. Thank you!
