Replacement window latch for Milgard horizontal sliding windows

Hello,

I'm looking for replacement latches for Milgard horizontal sliding windows. The aluminum latch contains a metal clip / spring which is missing on my window. Would like either a replacement clip/spring or new latch. Photo attached.

Thanks for posting! May I please see a photo of your latch removed from the window and shown from the end profile? I cannot guarantee that we can offer a replacement but seeing a photo of the end profile would be the best way for us to determine what we can.

Thank you for helping.

The clip is not easily removed. I am afraid of damaging the window. I took a end photo of the clip.

Inside is a very stiff wire that provides spring action.

Hope you can suggest a replacement.

I'm sorry to say, we do not carry a replacement for this particular window latch.

You may have some luck contacting the manufacturer however, I cannot make any guarantees. I apologize that we won't be able to assist with this repair but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions. Thanks for posting.
