Replacement window lifter

Home Owner from Upstate NY
Several of my vinyl windows are missing the piece at the bottom of the window that you use to lift up/slide up the window. Not sure what it?s called?!

Thank you!

Thanks for reaching out to us. I think you are describing your sash lift. Take a look at our selection of sash lifts and see if you recognize yours. You can also send a photo of the original and we'll be happy to suggest a replacement.

TY! sash lift it is. Except mine look nothing like what you have. Please see photo of window with sash lift intact and one without it. Without it leaves an exposed sharp window edge. Yikes!!

Thanks for getting back to us. I'm afraid we don't have a replacement for this kind of sash lift. It looks like yours is part of the window glazing itself. Most of our sash lifts are screw-on, like the 26-116 or 26-174. You may still be able to use one of these (assuming you can drill into your window without damaging the glass), but then you'd still have that sharp edge you mention. You may want to contact a local glass shop to see if they can replace the original lift/glazing.
