Replacement windows crank

A quick learner from Saddle Brook NJ says:

I believe the operator is in good shape. I want to make sure I get the correct replacement.

Thanks You

Hello,

We'd be happy to help but we would like to see photos of the operator that this handle attaches to with the window open so that the arms that move the sash are fully visible. This will help us confirm which of our handles would be compatible. Thank you!

Thanks for getting back to us. I can't be positive since the arms that connect to the sash are tucked under the sill but I suspect that you may have something like the 39-330 Roto operator, which uses the 39-232 handle. If so, you would need to replace the entire operator, rather than just the handle, since the worm gear that the handle attaches to appears to be broken off of the base and is still inside the handle. That is not something that can be repaired, unfortunately. Take a look and see how the specifications compare to yours.

Actually the stem that goes into the worm gear of the operator is attached to the handle on my part. The end that goes into the operator is a hex shaped stem. The stem broke but is not in the operator. (See attached picture) It looks more like the 39-226

In that case, take a look at the 39-226 with the 5/16" hex stem that goes into the operator.
