Replacement with double mortise lock, key and keeper

Question

Odd size patio sliding glass door, want to replace handle with a double mortise Keyed lock and keeper set.  Door is less than 1 1/2 " thick and all replacement sets Specifications are for 1 1/2" or thicker. Is this option available or should I just purchase a keyed cylinder and bump out the exterior circle to install?  Please provide me with parts information for both options. Thank you

Your mortise lock resembles the 82-227, which is commonly used with the 82-030 handle set. We also offer the keyed 82-030B handle set with an offset thumb latch. If none of the screws that come with the handle set work for your door thickness, you would need to reuse the originals. Also, note that the key cylinder has a spindle that can be cut down to size. Just keep in mind that if you remove too much, it won't work and can't be returned for a refund. Review the specifications and related videos to assist you. Thanks for posting!
