Replacement/refinished hinges

Home Owner from Kentucky
My old kitchen cabinet hinges say pat 3391420 US. I was initially going to just replace them, then noticed that all hinges of similar size have the 3 screw holes reversed (2 next to the hinge, 1 on the outside). I tried cleaning the ones I have, now there is a plastic veneer flaking off. Do you have any advice on either finding replacements with an identical hole pattern, or refinishing the existing ones? Thanks

Looks like you have an older Amerock hinge which might not be available anymore. You might be able to use something like our 32-126 hinge kit, but I'm not sure. The mounting holes in the door are reversed compared to yours, like you mentioned, but I don't think it would that much of a problem to make new screw holes in the door.

When I cleaned hinges like this in the past, I soaked them in ammonia for a few hours to clean off the old finish. After they were cleaned I used a spray clear coat to refinish them.
