Replacing 70-004 with 70-204

I presently have 70-004 latches on my screens but several have come out. My installer is out of business and I don't want to take the screen apart. Can I use a 70-204 latch as a replacement? The shape is different. Will it fit over the existing ball head nail? I presume the 70-204 fits a 7/16 inch screen.

Yes, you should be able to use the 70-204 with your existing ball head screws. It is made for 7/16" thick screens, so keep that in mind.
