Replacing Channel Balance

Broken springs on old Nuair single hung window. Length is 25".
Shoe appears to b 15-004 - 1 13/32 long
Top appears to be 19-005. Weight of window is 28 pounds.
Looks like Swisco 385-2460 but I thought id's get your advice.

Hey there. It's a bit hard to read the shoe depth from these pictures, but if it is greater than 1", I agree this looks like an S385-27. Just confirm that the metal channel, not including the nylon fittings on either end is, 27" long. You will need a stamp option of 2460.

Metal is 25" long. The shoe depth is about 1 3/32. not quite 3 1/8.
The original part was marked K24S28.

Your measurements sound very much like our Series 385. That being said, have a look at our S385-25. With your sash weight of being 28 pounds, you can go with the 2650 option that supports a sash weight of 26-30 pounds. Give it a look and let us know if any other questions come up.
