I am having a very difficult time trying to install the rigid screen spline. The spline goes in easily without the screen but with the screening it's not staying secure. I've followed the video but it is not working for me.
Please help.
Thank you
Diane

Hello, Diane. What kind of screen material are you working with? The rigid spline will only work with standard fiberglass screen wire. I'm afraid it won't work for "Paw Proof" fiberglass wire, aluminum or copper wire.

Thanks for your reply Paul. I am using fiberglass screening from Home Depot. It's the Adfors Clear Advantage screening.

I'm not familiar with that brand of fiberglass screening. If it is the same gauge as stand fiberglass screen cloth, it should work in your frame. If you haven't already, take a look at our videos on this product, which you can see on the right side of this page. Installing the 55-109 screen spline is not an easy job, if that is in fact the spline you are using. Also note that reusing the existing spline is almost impossible.
