Replacing Truth Entrygard 30842R operator in a vinyl window

I wonder if I have to remove the lower vinyl trim to assess the mounting screws. If so, how? The original window installer has gone out of business.

Whether or not you need to remove the window trim depends on the window itself and how the operator is installed. Take a look at the video below that demonstrates the process of removing the trim to access and replace the operator. Thank you!
