Replacing Weatherstrip Bottom of Pella Door

Quick Learner from 21043
I need to replace the weatherstrip (sweep) at the bottom of the hinged patio door. The weatherstripping system that forms a seal against air and helps prevent water infiltration between the door and the sill. The serial number of my door is: 16CFR 1201 II SGCC 1804 1/8U.

I'd be happy to help you find the seal you need, but I'm afraid the code you provided doesn't tell me anything about the door or what hardware it might use. The best way to ID weatherseal like you need is to remove the original and show us a clear, unobstructed view of the end profile in undamaged condition. The video below will clarify precisely what we need.

Thanks Tom for your reply. As you requested, I've attached 4 photos of the end profile of my Pella hinged door. The door is approx 20 years old, so the weather stripping has take a beating over the years but would like to replace the weather strip if you could guide me in the right direction. I appreciate your help....thank you.

Thank you, I appreciate it. So, we unfortunately don't sell a weatherstripping type that matches this. I think this one might be a little too old. However I think something like our 58-176 may be worth considering. The way this works is it just wraps around the bottom of the door and installs on the sides using screws, making it very versatile. As long as your door is 1-3/4" thick this should fit.

I know that's not ideal but after reviewing your photos I think this is going to be the best option we can offer. Look it over and see what you think.
