Replacing a Caldwell channel balance.

Question

I need to know the strength of the spring. It Says 26 5 FS CALDWELL. The pulleys wore out and wore out the string. I will send pictures of the parts. I am also adding dimensions here. I am assuming the channel balance is S380-27. The metal is 1\2" wide and 27" long. the top is attached and is 11/16" x 1/2". The Shoe is attached and 1" x 15/16" x 1/2".

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380-27 or S385-27 channel balance. You need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You'll also need a 2650 spring strength option for your replacement balances.
