Replacing a Kelller Top Tilt latch

A quick learner from Cincinnati, Ohio says:

Do you have instructions on how to replace the 26-061P keller top tilt latch and the 26-295 Better-Bilt latch?

Thank you for your patience during this busy season. Installing the 26-061P Keller tilts can be a little tricky, but it's not impossible. What you need to do is to remove the two screws at each end at the top of the sash. You then have to pull up the top rail of the sash to slide the new top tilt on to the sash. You only need to pull it up a little just enough to slide on the new part. You might want to use a hair dryer to soften up the adhesive that holds the glass to the frame, but be careful when you do that since you risk permanently warping the frame. Also, as you are pulling up the top rail, "wiggle" it a little front to back to help in pull it up.
