I have the same pivot shoe as the customer in then previous comment. I was directed to your site also and the serial number that you gave for to replace the original pivot foot is a 3/8 in depth pivot shoe. I went back and measured my pivot shoe and it's coming out as a half inch thickness. Do you have a recommendation for that please.
And am I measuring it correctly. I measured the plastic which was a half inch but the metal housing at the bottom that holds the window sash is a little thicker.
I also need to replace two of the spiral rods which have an orange tip it looks like. However they are old and The color may have faded. They were just sitting in the frame and when I took them out the spiral rod just fell out onto the floor. The rods look quite rusty. So I am assuming that I should just replace the two. Any help you can give me with these two issues I would appreciate it very much.
We unfortunately don't sell any pivot shoe in this style as thick as 1/2". the closest option we have is maybe our 15-173. This may be worth considering but note that it's 9/16", not 1/2". It also has a different style cam so you would need a similar pivot bar as our 26-297, as mentioned above.
Regarding the spiral balance, I can't tell you if they need to be replaced or not. You'll have to test them a few times to see if they're functional. Being a tilt window, you want either the 3/8" Series 900 or 9/16" Series 600, depending on the diameter of the tube.
