Replacing broken balancer bar

A home owner from Hawaii says:
My house is 19 years old and has all Milgard windows. On one of my windows the balancer bar has broken and I would like to replace it. The number on the part is: 26 4 DV CMC 8. How do I get a replacement part? I live on Maui in Hawaii.

Hello!

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380-27 or S385-27 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You will also need a 2640 stamp option.

If you have any questions just let us know!

I measured the attachment to be 1-3/32" so its the S385-27 balance bar.

What do you mean by "You will also need a 2640 stamp option"?

Are we close to ordering the part? Do you have free shipping to Hawaii?

Thanks

The stamp on your metal channel is "26 4", which mean you'll need to choose the 2640 stamp option. This stamp indicates the weight range that your balance is calibrated to support.

I'm afraid we do not offer free shipping. I am sorry for the inconvenience!
