Replacing knife latches

Question

What are the best techniques for removing knife latches from a window frame so they can be replaced.  It is difficult to release the tiny stop.  Thanks

These are a little tricky to remove once installed in the frame. What I find best to use is a very small flat blade screw driver. The idea is to use the small screw driver to depress the locking tab on the clip. With the clip depressed the clip should be a little easier to remove from the frame.
