Replacing lower Anderson Window parts

A handy person from Westwood, MA says:

Hi,

My lower window sash balance cords (both) are broken on my Andersen double hung window. I am looking to sell this house in a couple of weeks and hoping the repair is not too difficult. I've watched the video many times. I really hope to not have to do any touch up painting either.

Can you please identify the proper replacement sash balancer?

Top window measures 32 1/4" of glass area on the horizontal

Bottom window appears to be bigger at 32.5" of glass area.

I also am looking to repair my Anderson Window Crank.

Can you please confirm I need part 39-147.

Would really like to speak with someone and get these parts on order today.

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Thanks for reaching out to us. In order to identify the balance you need for your Andersen window, I will need you to remove the balance itself and show me a clear picture of each and every stamp printed on the box. That will allow us to match it up to something in our catalog.

Concerning your operator, the 39-147 does look similar. As long as the other dimensions match up then you should be good to go.
