I need to replace 2 Andersen Straight Arm Operators(RH & LH)
The arms measures 7-3/8" from the side of the operator base to the end of the arm.
The arms measure 9-3/8" from the fulcrum to the end of the arm.
The arms measure 10-1/2" from the center of the crank mechanism to the end of the arm.
The base is 4" wide and its height is 5/8" H
The shoes are round and steel. It appears that you can also buy a replacement window track that matches a more modern or newer style shoe?
Why:
The pivot point of the arm has been elongated perhaps due to someone trying to force the window open. Also, the arm gear has been badly worn and does not bring the window all the way closed - this must be done manually, then locked.
I cannot locate a part # anywhere. It says "Andersen" and has RH & LH. There is a small triangle in the body casting the has a "DC" inside of it.
I have attached photos.
I am refurbishing this window unit with hardwood trim and have milled all new stops and extension jambs.
