Replacing window Balances

Question

I have to replace 22 window Balances  Measurements :  35" Long  9/16" wide they have a Blue Tip .  Can i use a Red tip Balance as a replacement

Thanks for posting. If this is a tilt window spiral balance, the outer tube is 35" long and 9/16" (or 5/8") in diameter, then it is indeed an S600-35 Spiral Balance. To know what color to select, weigh the window sash that these balances support. If it falls into the weight range of 12 through 30 pounds, then you could use the Red Tip option.
