Request of Assistance with a broken Certainteed Tilt Window

Question

I am trying to replace a broken part that keeps the top window sash from sliding down without locking the window.

I have Certainteed windows and request your assistance to identify and confirm the currect replacement item from your selection.

Attached two photos of showing the location of the broken part which I need to identify and replace. Also attached is a photo of the label on this window sash.

Not sure where to send the photos - if that would help. I will also try calling.

Looks like you need a new coil balance assembly. I can't quite make out what yours is while it's still in the window, but since this is Certainteed brand there's a good chance you want to look at our 15-192 shoe, Series 170 and Series 171 spring, 15-156 cover, and 15-157 bushing. Look these parts over and let me know if they match what you're working with now. You may also find the video below to be helpful.
