Are you meaning slightly over-sized in regard to the length? If so, the length of the balance and stamp typically are not the same. In most cases, the stamp is one number below the length of the channel. We use that to determine the weight range the balances should be able to hold to support the weight of the sash.

Thanks for clarifying. The 26-4 stamp on the balance denotes that the balance can support a sash weighing 19 to 26lbs. That said, the weight range of the balance is exactly what it would need to be to support the weight of the sash.

Given the metal bracket and the blue, nylon bracket, this balance will need to be a custom made assembly. To confirm pricing and availability, I will need to know the exact number of balances you intend to purchase. there is an order minimum of (2) balances for a custom assembly.
