Requesting help to identify replacement window balances.

Question

Hello - Hoping you can assist with identifying replacement window balances.

Manufacturer: Jordan, Series 25 "Thermal Barrier", aluminum single hung windows. They are about 30 years old.

The marking on the balance is: 28 3 FK Caldwell (see attached picture).

The length of the metal portion is 29 inches.

Included pictures to assist in identification.

Hey John. It looks like you have either an S351-29 or S390-29. The only difference between these two channel balances is the depth of the bottom nylon shoe, or the 'heel-to-toe' measurement. See the diagram below for reference. Measure the depth of your existing balance's shoe to see which matches best. For a new stamp option choose 2830.
