Require Sash Balance Replacement...

A home owner from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada says:

I have a window with a broken balance. The balance in question is marked "UNIQUE 24-D-40" and it measures 25" in length. This is a block and tackle system with an attachment that fits into another piece within the window track system. The blocks are both broken within the tracks and I'm guessing it caused the spring to shot upwards, breaking the rivets. I require a replacement of 2x Sash balances with measurements:

Measurements:
Balance - 25" long 9/16" wide 1/2" deep

Hello! Your balance looks like a match for our Series 770. I think yours is just an older version of ours, or at the very least is made by another manufacturer. Look it over and let me know if you agree or if you had any questions.
