Hello,
I have read your Customer Questions & Comments section regarding re-screening Anderson windows but I still have questions.
I noticed in one of your responses you recommended the aluminum screen but the reason that I want to re-screen is to install the fiberglass darkening solar screen on the east and west sides of the house to reduce the heat.
These screens are Anderson 1998 vintage and appear to have the 1/4" aluminum spline slots. Do you think I can use the fiberglass screen with either the .250 or .270 and stretch it for a tighter fit?
Thanks for your assistance, David

We have used the solar screen on Andersen screens before, I believe. It was the screen with the 1" wide framing and we use the 59-250 spline. Does that look good to you?

Thanks for researching this. Sounds like it will work!
