Retainer for winter storm windows

Doors were originally purchased from Sears. Over the years, the plastic retainers have broken. Looking to find and buy new long pieces that can be cut to size to fit around entire door.

Thanks for your patience in this matter. I'm afraid that we don't sell retainers like this. These are next to impossible to supply, to be honest. Every different manufacturer has their own idea of how they should be designed, and even the same manufacturer will change the style year to year. It's hard to keep up and warehouse space is finite.

The good news is, these are really easy to work around. You have two options:

First, you can simply cut your retainer strips down to smaller pieces and distribute them equally around the frame. The truth is, you don't need the whole strip. The fact they make them as long as they do is kind of a waste of material.

Alternatively, you can buy a clip like our 70-180 and a screw like our 33-020 and distribute them just as equally around the frame. Using small clips like this is how they did it back in the day and we find it still works even now.
