Is there a return spring cam available? Or what is the replacement that I can put on the door?

Hey Joe. You could just replace the latch and spring with our 40-150; if you wanted to go for a new handle set, see if you could adapt the 40-177.

So, your 40-150 includes a lever return spring? It is hard to see the spring and cam in the pictures. Also, do you know where I can get a polished brass version?

While it's difficult to see in the pictures, yes the 40-150 has the spring. It is what keeps the outside handle centered. If you wanted a brass version, I am afraid we don't carry one; but you could see if you could adapt the brass version of the 40-177, our 40-058, to your door. Take a look and see what you think.
