Can you reverse the direction of the 82-086?

Yes, the 82-086 is fully reversible. The pull handle is attached to the base with screws, so all you need to do is unscrew them and flip them around to face the appropriate side.

I'm afraid I can't make out your exact hole spacing from just a photo of a tape measure. The most important dimension here is the distance between the two screw holes, center-to-center. As long as yours are 3-15/16" apart, then there's a good chance that the 82-086 will work for you.

The second most important detail is hardware compatibility; in other words, whether or not our 82-086 will work with your mortise. I can't see yours to make a judgment in that regard, but you did say that everything else was an exact match. Therefore at this stage all you need to do is verify hole spacing.
