Reverse installation

Can the latch be installed "lift to open" in both left and right sliding doors? I do not like having to lift latch on one door and press down on the other door.

Hello,
We appreciate your patience while we looked into this for you. I pulled one of the 83-126 screen door latches from our inventory and confirmed that you can just move the metal latch from the right to the left side of the handle without having to flip the entire assembly. Thanks for posting!
