Reynolds Manufacturing balances

Question

Hello,

We have 2 double hung windows that have broken "constant force window balances" in the Tennessee home. One window sash is 19" high by 24 5/8" needs 2 balances and the other sash is 26 3/4" by 36 5/8" and needs the left balance.

The pictures are from the small window sash, the left balance.

I didn't take balance out because I'm going to have to "cut it out" or remove the window. There is no slot for easy removal.

Please let me know if you have any balances that would work for this project.

Hey there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm afraid I can't discern what you may have here. The window track obscures too much, unfortunately. We would need to see photos of the pivot shoe removed from the window along with the written-out thickness and width. The video below will detail how to do so using the cut out method.
