Reynolds Window Pivot Lock

Handy Person
I am looking for a window pivot lock as seen in the pic. I searched your website and can't find one that matches. This is on a Reynolds window. When I attempt to pivot the window, the pivot bar bends and it pops out of the window pivot. Thanks!

Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you but we'll need a bit more information to get started. first, we'll need to see the pivot shoe fully removed from the window to compare to our inventory. We'll also need you to write out the exact width and thickness of your part to narrow down your options. See the related videos to help you through the process. Thank you!

Ok, here are some pics. I mainly need the pivot shoe. It is 1.25" wide, 1/2" thick, and 1.25" tall (1 7/16" tall with the tabs). It is a double coil spring. Each spring is approx 1 1/8" wide, 1/2" thick, 1 9/16" tall (1 3/4" tall with the tabs). Hope this helps.

Thanks for getting back to us. Unforutnately, we do not carry an exact match for your coil balance assembly but we have recommended the 15-087 housing pivot and S180 coil springs in the past. We can't make any guarantees but see another customer's post here, along with our expert's advice, to see if this might work for your application.

Hi, the 15-086 tandem coil housing is 9/16" thick, my old one is 1/2" thick. Do you have a housing that is 1/2" thick? I believe the 9/16" will be too tight in my window tracks and cause binding. Thanks.

Good catch. I measured one of the 15-086 tandem housings from our inventory to be sure and it is 9/16" thick. Unforutnately, we do not carry a smaller option that is compatible with the 15-087 housing pivot. If you're sure that the 9/16" housing won't fit your window jamb, the best option would be to see if you could reuse your original tandem housings with the 15-087. We can't guarantee that it would work but it would be your best option since your original hardware is no longer available.
