Ribbed Series 751 Quote

I need a quote for the S751 ribbed balance 39" long but for a sash weighing 20 lbs. The existing sash is stamped 36HDB. I will need 4 of them. I am also going to order parts for 4 more windows but will not need a custom order for them.

Thanks for reaching out to us. We may be able to supply a balance made with this configuration. Please give me a little more time to research this weight rating and see if they make a stamp that can accommodate it.

In the meantime, can you tell me if your window had issues in the past? The spring is over-calibrated for the weight, so it would have been harder to close.

this is the upper sash on a double hung window. The only time it was used was when I went to clean the windows. It was always hard to open, but finally the balance broke and it wont hold the window up. These all are the original windows inthe home approximatley 29 year old. As I stated before I will be buying replacement parts for 4 more windows, but your replacement parts all work for them, these kitchen windows were the only ones that didn't match up with your replacement.

Gotcha, thanks for verifying. So for a 20 pound sash, we have our 38R stamp. Two balances with this stamp carry 15 through 24 pounds.

We've added this stamp to the S751-39 store page. It's not currently in stock, since this is the first time we're carrying it, so expect a lead time of approximately 5-6 business weeks as its made up. In the meantime you can use the S751-39 store page to notify you when these are in stock so you can place an order.
