Ribbed balance height

Question

Is there a way to estimate the proper balance height based on the sash?  Customer needs interior shutters removed for access and they do not want to do that until the work is ready to be done.  Visible glass is 29H, the sash height is 34.25.  Thanks

Thanks for posting. It's tricky to say without knowing the exact length of the metal channel, but typically the length of a balance matches the height of the visible glass. With that in mind, I would recommend our S751-29 channel balance. However, I cannot guarantee that this length is correct. It's more of an educated guess. Let me know what you think!
