Right and Left Rear Drawer Sockets for Merillat cabinets

Quick Learner from Illinois
We would like to replace the rear drawer sockets but see that they are plugs and not sure how to remove them without tearing up the back of the cabinet. Can you offer a solution?
Thank you!

Thanks for posting! If memory serves, these old plug-in sockets just pop out. They shouldn't be too difficult to remove. Could it be yours were glued in by the original installers? If so, that may be a problem. There aren't a lot of elegant solutions to that. If your sockets are glued in you may want to consult a local hardware store to see what they recommend. Part of me wants to say you'd have to cut away the socket from the wall, but maybe someone in your area has a better idea.
