Right and left

Andersen has different sash counterbalances for each side of the double hung window, ie, one marked for the left and one marked for the right. With the 939 do you just sell one for both sides?
Is this product an actual Andersen product or an after market product?

Hello! Yes, the 24-939 is a genuine Andersen product. This particular balance can work on both the left and right hand side of the window, though there are some Andersen balances that are meant to work for either the left or right, not both. Are you sure the 24-939 is the proper replacement? If you would like us to confirm, remove your balance from the window and take a picture of the stamps printed on it. Using those stamps, we should be able to confirm exactly what it is you need.
