Rivco thermos pane vinyl clad window installed 2001. Need bubble seal . Residential.

Looks like your 58-182 . Are there any special instructions for old removal or install. Is the bubble seal suppose to extend past the window frame at all.

To remove the old seal, you will need to remove the sash and then just be able to slide out the weatherstripping from the slot where it's installed. Some windows have a corner edge blocking the slot, in which case you will need to carefully cut away the obstruction with a utility knife.
