Rivet for awning operater

We bought new awning operator(silver) but it needs some kind of rivet as old one (white) has  See attached photos( 2 of old casing that includes rivet.  One of new casing

Your old operator looks like it might have been a closer match to our 39-025. Look this part over and let me know what you think.
