Roller Track for 39-027E, Window Crank, 9-1/2"

Quick Learner from Rockaway, NJ
I'm replacing an old Anderson window crank (#7073B L,installed at my church when it was built in the late 1950s) with the 39-027E Window Crank, 9-1/2".

When I went to install it the end of the new Caradco shaft contained a roller instead of the original Anderson plastic slider and wouldn't fit into the metal track piece on the bottom of the casement window.

Note: I also have an Anderson 7073B R crank of the same period that I want to order later--since I anticipate the same problem please give me the appropriate replacement track number for that also. . Thanks!

Thanks for getting back to us, and for the pictures! That helps clarify things considerably. It looks like you have an older style Andersen operator, which is not available anymore. I suggest that you take at the newer 39-094 Andersen Straight Arm Operator and see if you think it will work. It comes with the appropriate track. You may be able to adapt this. Let me know!

I have some older Anderson Casement Units in my garage and am looking to replace a couple of the operators. The left hand operator has Anderson #7073B L stamped into it. Measures ll 3/8" from slide to center of mounting stud. Any reply would be greatly appreciated John

Thanks for the images! I have placed you in an existing thread concerning the 7073B. As Dave said above, this style is discontinued and is no longer available, though our 39-094 may be a possible substitute.
